Shipping Info

Due to supply chain issues, please understand that shipping is going to take longer than normal.

Regarding Handling Times:

I DO NOT OFFER RUSH SHIPPING FOR ANY REASON.
If you need rush shipping please do not shop with me.
I ship once per week because I am a 1 person operation.
If you are in a rush or continue to send me emails regarding your order I will cancel your order and issue you a refund.

Please allow a 1-2 week handling time for most orders. I work very hard to ship prints as quickly as I can, but sometimes I need to re-order shipping boxes, re-print artwork, etc., and it can add a few days onto my handling time.

Giclee prints are made-to-order so please allow up to 3-4 weeks for your item to arrive. If you are in a rush, please do not purchase one.

Please make sure that your shipping address is correct when you place your order.
If I ship a package before you contact me with corrections, there is nothing I can do to have it sent back to me, so PLEASE double or triple check to make sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order to be on the safe side.

Regarding Tracking Information:

The moment I ship an order, you will receive an email with your USPS tracking number via the email you used during checkout. Please check that email account for a message with tracking information, and check your spam folder as well.

USPS tracking info expires after 90 days, so if you have an issue with your packge, please contact me within 60 days so that I may file an inquiry/claim with USPS and give them adequate time to resolve the issue.

Regarding packing and Insurance:

I typically ship all of my prints rolled loosely in crush-proof white boxes. I have been shipping prints with USPS for 15 years and I can say with confidence that I have had less of these boxes incur damage during shipping than any other shipping box/flat/container/tube. I take special care to make sure that prints are packed well.

If you desire specific packaging other than my standard boxes, please email me prior to making your purchase so we can arrange for the payment of special packing materials. I'm happy to use different packing materials for buyers who wish to pay for different packing materials.

I personally purchase insurance for all packages shipping within the United States. Please shop confidently, and if a package arrives to you damaged, see instructions below:

My prints arrived damaged, what should I do?

While it is rare, sometimes USPS will damage a package. For this reason, I always purchase insurance on domestic packages for the full amount. If a print/prints arrive to you damaged, please contact me ASAP and please do not throw out the box. I will need several photos from you to initiate an insurance claim. While I cannot control the manner in which USPS mail carriers handle packages, I am happy to file an insurance claim and replace all damaged prints for you free of charge.

There is a finite window of time that I can file an insurance claim with USPS. Be prepared to provide the name on your order and to provide photos of the damaged print/prints, the damaged box, and the shipping label on the box. I specifically need all of these things to start an insurance claim with USPS, and I cannot open an insurance claim without these specific photos.  Insurance claims are how I get reimbursed for USPS's mistakes, and how I am able to re-ship your order completely free of charge to you.

So to be clear, if USPS damages your package please contact me ASAP with the photos requested above so that I may file an insurance claim and send you replacements. The faster we get the claim started, the faster I can send replacements.

If your package arrived damaged, and you live outside of the US (international sale) you MUST obtain a damage report from your customs office or post office. Without this, I cannot file an insurance claim at all.

And remember: I am not the one who damaged your package. USPS sometimes has accidents, but I am here to help.

Regarding International Shipping:

Yes, although I am located in the United States, I am happy to ship worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on your location.

All standard poster prints are shipped via USPS International First Class Mail. USPS First Class Mail is the most economical option for international shipping and includes tracking information, but it does not include insurance. If you would like to purchase insurance on your poster prints, please contact me prior to placing your order so we can discuss shipping options that include insurance.

All giclee prints and original art must ship via USPS Priority Mail International for insurance purposes. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE for international orders.

When shipping internationally, I always insure original paintings and drawings for the FULL amount and declare the full amount on customs forms for the protection of the artwork. I will not declare a lower value or insure it for less than the actual cost, NO EXCEPTIONS.

The price I list for shipping costs is the total cost for shipping and insurance.

If your package arrived damaged, and you live outside of the US (international sale) you MUST obtain a damage report from your customs office or post office. Without this, I cannot file an insurance claim at all.

Please make sure that your shipping address is correct when you place your order. If I ship a package before you contact me with corrections, there is nothing I can do to have it sent back to me, so PLEASE double or triple check to make sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order to be on the safe side.

Please claim your packages from customs! All packages that are "unclaimed" will be returned to me (eventually, it can take months), at which point I will have to invoice you for the cost of shipping again in order to re-ship your order. No exceptions. I do not give refunds to people who fail to claim their packages.

Any taxes, duties, or customs fees incurred are the sole responsibility of the buyer. For insurance purposes, I will not declare a lower value than the real total cost of the artwork. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay their own government's taxes and duties.  If this is a concern of yours, please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional charges will be prior to buying.

Regarding a package that has not yet arrived:

USPS tracking info expires after 90 days, so if you have an issue with your shipped order, please contact me within 60 days so that I may file an inquiry/claim with USPS and give them adequate time to resolve the issue.

Regarding returns:

I do not accept returns, period.
